Supplies for Patriotic Ribbon Wand

  • Wood dowel
  • Scissors
  • Patriotic ribbon
  • Hot glue gun with glue sticks

Directions

  1. First, cut the ribbons into 20″ strips. Make sure to keep the colors in separate piles.
  2. Next, fold a ribbon in half and loop it around the end of the wand. Pull the ends through and the loop and tighten.
  3. Finally, loop at least five rows of ribbons. Make sure to alternate the colors. Take the glue gun and secure the ribbons to the wood dowel. Now you are ready to wave your patriotic ribbon wand at a Fourth of July parade.
